Engagement & Satisfaction at HappyPorch
That “HappyPorch exists for us” is one of our values we tend to follow and live.
The happiness and satisfaction of the Team and our engagement is very important to us. To measure this we started a survey.
This post is based on the results of our first Engagement and Satisfaction Survey. We received feedback responses from everyone from the Team.
On a happiness scale from 1 to 5 we answered:
The majority of Team members responded with a 4 which means we are quite happy at HappyPorch!
The result about feeling challenged and stretched at work shows that we are doing well in that area and will be thinking of ways to be better at this:
We also rated our work and life balance on a scale from 1 to 5:
All 11 of us answered positively on the questions regarding:
- referring someone to work in the Company
- feeling valued at work
- being comfortable with sharing opinions at work
- feeling that they have all the needed resources in order to do their work effectively
On the topic do we feel that we are paid fairly the response is:
We would like to specifically improve in this area in the near future so we have put together a working group to progress this.
We strive to care for each other’s mental and physical health. For example we schedule remote yoga sessions once a week and we are starting to assess remote working risks, etc. This is how our Team feels at the moment:
The person who selected ‘no’ stated that being part of the company doesn't necessarily improve things but also didn't negatively affect their mental and physical well being.
We will continue to measure our engagement and satisfaction every year, most probably before one of our team meetup gatherings. At each meetup we talk about our happiness and try to do our best to improve all results in the future and raise the happiness, satisfaction and engagement of the Team members.
